Passenger - Flight of the Crow
This album made my month musically. It's amazing right from the first second till the last one. Great songs and great collaborations. It's very calm and deep I would say. The whole album is on repeat right now.
This is a song that made me get the album. The video is also very cool.

Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse - Dark Night of the Soul
I've been waiting for this collaboration album for quite awhile. Then I just forgot about it. I googled it the other day and got it. It definitely didn't disappoint. They both provided great music and the features are all good including: James Mercer of The Shins, The Flaming Lips, Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Frank Black of the Pixies, Iggy Pop, Nina Persson of The Cardigans, Suzanne Vega, Vic Chesnutt, David Lynch, and Scott Spillane of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Gerbils. This one has a heavier sound.

Wednesday... It was another great day.

Free Flowin Fridayz (Week 78)- Wednesday edition

Life is interesting.
The curve balls it throws you are even more interesting.
The way you deal with those curve balls causes much excitement and stress.
More interesting yet, is when youfinally figure out one thing in your life, get that all settled and then not one but two of the same type of stresses present themselves to you at the same time.
Then you are faced with the question of how to deal with this recurring stress.
Should you do the "right" thing and ignore it?
Or have fun and go with the flow?
Oh the questions.
It's like a constant whirlpool of thoughts in your brain.
Pretty annoying, and sometimes you may fall into that whirlpool.
Sometimes you may hover along the edge.
Heck, sometimes you might actual fly over it!

In all cases it is a challenge.
But like with all challenges it is one you must face, trudge through and ultimately one you will learn something from.
Whether or not you notice or admit to the fact that something has been learned...I don't think many people can argue the fact that something about you, some small part of you as a person has changed.

For better or for worse
I stand at the edge of my whirlpool
looking for a way across.

Thursday... I'm not sure how I want to summarize it. It was pretty good I guess.

These Fast Times at MUSC

She is very funny and will be my preceptor for this year. Last year is was (Dean) Dr. Wong. I'm on a 2 year streak with Asian medical practitioners & I'm enjoying it. She is very funny & let's her thoughts fly (it can be weird too). In her own words, she "married a red neck" and I think it takes a special person to do that.

Anyway, SHELF exams coming up.....1st & 2nd years students share a test date, quickly approaching! I found out that Yaz and I have a interesting coincidence.

If you have a baby by 50 cent, you'll be a millionaire. If he were more like Lil Wayne, we'd have a bunch more baby millionaires being delivered. But I guess hard economic times have turned 50 cent cheap. I couldn't help but think the other day about how many women Lil Wayne will get pregnant within 6 months of him getting out of jail? My guess is 1.5 (the ".5" represents the chance of a Maury Povitch situation).
