Fall Breaks
Winter Break!! This break has been one of the more of the most active breaks I have ever experienced. So beside working on my research proposal and trying to see everyone before they complain, I don’t care about them like many have already. So the last two weeks have been very interesting because usually I am not a going out to clubs type of person. So this break my friends have told me I need to live outside the box before I enter the professional world. So I decided to go along with them because I wanted to experience Miami night life at 21 since this is one of the first opportunities I have gotten. Also, I originally planned these outing with my friends because I thought some other people were coming to visit but nobody took me up on the offer. So in the past week I have been out to 4 different clubs which have been fun but still not my style. I also spent two days celebrating my friend Thad B-Day. First day I spent a his party at his aunt house which was pretty cool. The second night we decided to go to the Seminole hard Rock hotel and casino. The casino was pretty fun I went in with $20 and left with almost $50. I was too scared to continue after I won the money so I cashed out and got ready to leave. So this break has been pretty good. I hope everyone is also enjoying their breaks. So during the semester I do find time to do other stuff besides studying and here are some of the pictures:
Church:
Every Saturday I go to Maranatha SDA Church and then after the Youth pf the church usually have a pot Luck. Pretty fun! We get into all type of stuff:
(At a Potluck) Don't know why people keep inviting me since I don't know how to cook yet!
(Suppose to be a bible character but he looks like a smurf to me!)
(Fun in the Dollar store)One O One:
So this is a restaurant that me and some other students started going to after test and other stuff to hangout . This was a key place because of Happy Hours and half off drinks.
My favorite Appetizer, Beef Tips

The Fair was also in town this year and I got the chance to go to that.

This is one my friends who started crying after a ride. Not everyone can take these rides!!
Birthdays:
So you know by now that no one is too busy to celebrate their birthdays. We did various things like go out to eat or have game nights!!! My birthday also fell during this semester. I went to Chili’s and that went to FSU Reservations. Pretty Cool.

FSU Rez:
The Rez is a place FSU has that students can go to for free and just have fun. Some of the activites that we can do are: Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Lounging, and Canoeing. All free to FSU students.

the Hidden Daily
Today was cold and rainy unlike yesterday. I didn't want to get out of bed but I had to. :| . Went to work. I was supposed to have two meetings but one of them got canceled. I'm glad it was. Then I went to meet people and tell them the price for one of our properties. They really want to buy but not badly enough to pay the price we offer. Things got heated up because of that. They even talked to my boss who was very close to cussing them out. This probably won't go anywhere. We're not done yet.
I finalized another deal today and that's it, I'm done for this year. I'm still going to work tomorrow.
After work I went to see my friend who came for holidays. She studies in Lithuania. It was great to see her. We were classmates so we've known eachother for a long long time. Then we went to see out friends and had a great evening. So this was definitely a good day. One more.
I feel good right now even though there are certain things I worry about but I'm not gonna get into it right now.
That's it. I'm gonna just go to bed soon.

Sherlock Holmes Based on Crack
I saw this recently. It was a good movie, very subtle humor. Angels & Demons plus Scarface combined. [Well maybe that is not what I was supposed to be thinking during the movie.] They did a good job portraying characters, a good mix between Sherlock's quirkiness and Dr. Watson's uptight demeanor. Movie was full of mystery/detective/life bullshit, that I enjoyed. I suggest this movie for watching. But, not if you are in crack rehab, because ... it's full of drugs. If you don't understand just go watch the movie, then come back and read this and see if it makes more sense. But, if you still don't get it then, go watch Scarface, Angels&Demons, then Sherlock Holmes, in that order. This was greatest movie review you ever read.

Free Flowin Fridayz (Week 39)-Tuesday edition
I've heard many people say that life is a "balancing act." But what happens if you never learned how to balance or your balancing stinks? Do you fall? Do you get hurt real bad when you fall? Or after years of trying to learn is there still an inkling of hope that you will learn the secrets of this balancing act? I sure haven't learned. But I sure need to and fast!My 6.5lb Biochemistry book arrived yesterday and I went into a semi-panic mode upon seeing it. I flipped through a few pages and put myself into more of a panic and had to force myself to breathe so I didn't start hyperventilating. I remember nothing of Organic and every page I turned had something that I should have already learned. I don't know anybody in this class and very few people at this school, only 1 being a science major. Mamma Mia!
Sprinkle on top of that home being hellish. And I finally understand what FML means. *sigh*
By the way...GO SEE ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS!!! =) and Sherlock Holmes and Avatar...
In other news, I got to see my closest high school friend on Sunday and yesterday. He has finally decided that he is going to drop out of the Master's program he was doing at BU and work for the next semester before going to Nova for D.O. school. It really sucks to see our MD dreams crushed, but what's the use in waiting and trying to reapply? He really likes the DO philosophy and in the grand scheme of things it's all the same. We've been talking about since Junior year in college and he's done much more research on it than me, but at least now he can help me when I come to apply for DO schools in the future.
I guess sometimes you can aim high, but there comes a point when your path in life has caused you to veer away slightly from your intended goal. At that point it is most beneficial to keep your options open and to find any way that will allow you some means of reaching your ultimate goal. In my friend's case, as in mine, this goal is patient care. Whether this be MD, DO, or Caribbean MD there comes a point when it's just stupid to keep waiting, stressing and trying. Although he hasn't explicitly said this to me, I can kind of tell that while he is not exactly disappointed with going the DO route, he's still getting used to the idea of having left his initial dream behind and pursuing it in a different way. His dad and uncle are also both doctors and I think that might add to his position. But whatever...I have a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong road ahead of me. And I need to get out of Jax for at least a few months.
I need to go back to my old self and mindset that I can only do so much and as long as I try my best there is nothing more that I can do. Is there? Thing is, I don't really know what my "best" is. How do I figure that out? Soo many questions. So few answers. So much stress. This is life.
As a friend of mine recently put it "Sometimes the only thing left to do is pray..."
P.S.-Where is that video with Treize doing the Georgian spin? Any ideas? I could do with a good laugh :)
the Hidden Daily
I talked with a friend last night and I'm glad I did. We haven't had a meaningful conversation in a while.
First part of the day was very busy, I had a lot to do. I spent two hours in a bank bevause I had to submit documents to register 10 apartments as our property. There was a huge line behind me because I represented 10 people. The emplyees at this particular bank are really really good. They've been very helpful.
Then I had a few hours free so I took the time to look up things on the web, post on the blog and on FB. Then It got busy again, I had to make a lot of calls and do some negotiations. Got a meeting tomorrow morning. We'll see what happens.
When I finally got of work, I went home, changed and went to see my friend at her work. She works at a call center and deals with American customers so she has to work evening/night shifts. I got a nice flask she promised a while back. Saw my other friend who also works there. We talked for a few minutes then they had to get back to work.
I decided to call up my friend and offered him to take a ride around the city. We did that. Then we went to see my new place... a lot of silliness was involved.
Great day.
The UnCut
1st, allow me to congratulate JNeez on her admission to the UNC School of Pharmacy!!! We are proud and new you could do it.
I have been spending a lot of my time with family (as planned) & I couldn't have done anything better. Family is great......specifically my mother and sisters. Although, it seems that much of SC is a dead zone for Cingular/AT&T customers.
I got some surprising news from a friend recently. Funny thing about it was that I asked the question that lead to it. I suppose, sometime just asking what you think can lead to big benefits (or disappointment). Sure enough, I've discovered that I am someone who really really likes their questions to be answered (a "pet peeve" maybe).
I am really enjoying Givi's daily...good stuff! I have some pics that I shall post beginning with these...

I must run & do some important things now....everyone have a good day! Hopefully I can update this later

woah... today is tiring. I had to walk 7 floors up and down for too many times, plus gathering some documents and taking care of customers.
I gotta do something at home as well. Rough day but it's all good. We all have them. I don't have anything interesting to tell you... I'm gonna keep this short and put pictures from Saturday.
Hopefully the rest of the day will be more chill. I don't want to rush anything. I'll probably won't get much done at home :).

They don't always have water so they collect them in these bottles.

I woke up feeling great today and I'm gonna go to bed with the same feeling. I helped my dad move something to his friend's house who's arriving on 29th. I was driving. I'm excited.:) After we got home I just put on some music and packed a few boxes. Then I got a haircut.
I went to the new apartment, moved those boxes and started to decorate the house. I put my toys out of the boxes and put them up on display. I wanted to do that for so long. I still have and love my action figures and cars. My dad was putting up books. He found the book that I want to read; 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I heard a few good things about. Now I'm gonna check it myself.
Then we drove around before going home. I found this 2pac CD I burned years ago so I just listened to that in the car. I haven't listened to 2Pac for a long time.... that's a random detail of the ride.
Now I'm back on FB and back on Skype... and the blog, obviously.
That is all for todays post, now here come the videos.
this boy band used to be very popular. They're from Britain. I can't stop laughing at this.
this is the Russian MTV video. random video that puts me back to when I was a teenager and watched TV.

the Hidden Daily
Today's a good day.
Had the last briefing for this year at work. we made a few jokes, made a little recap of the year and that was it. Then I went to get my parents a present. I bought a nice TV set. My dad was very surprised and happy so I felt great too. We set it up, it works fine. My mom liked it too. I felt like I should get something for them when we move to a new apartment, something they can enjoy.
After that, my friends and I went to visit IDPs from South Ossetia. We gave children some clothes, toys and candy. They were happy and very, very lovely. There was this kid who had a sister. He was like: "I got stuff for you too" when his sister came in. It was amazing to see how much these kids care about each other. I took some picks with my phone but I won't put them on my computer until Monday. That's when you can see them.
Data called me up earlier. Told me that our fellow UGRAD alumni from Azerbaijan was in Tbilisi and that she wanted to meet up. I went there but only saw Data. She couldn't make it on time so we had to cancel it. Data called out mutual friend to ask if she could join us but that didn't happend either.lol. So I got home after walking for some time. It definitely feels like New Year is on its way in the street. Bright lights, a lot of parents with their kids.
Now, I'm skype with T.R.I.V.I.... waiting for him to respond :).
UPDATE: Travis is back. having a conversation right now. Now, the post is complete.

first of all; Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it today. Have a great day and a great year ahead of you.
the rest of the day went by fast and quietly yesterday. I got home, made a phone call and then did some random stuff. My dad wasn't at home so we didn't get to do anything in the new apartment. I'm heading over there today for sure.
I got a call from Nevena. her friend didn't believe that I need a visa to go to Serbia so she wanted to prove it. Then we chatted a little on skype as well.
T.R.I.V.I. showed up online as well. We had a little conversation until I went to bed. I was sleepy for the most part of the day yesterday. I think it's best to go to bed when you feel sleepy no matter what time; early or late.
I see Igor posted a video down below and a bunch of other video on FB. I'll check them all out when I get home.
Today is a pretty good day. The weather is really good. It feels like fall rather than winter. here are some pictures from today for your viewing pleasure. My cell phone comes in handy.
