T.R.I.V.I. - General Principles

the Hidden Weekly

Week 34

I left of last Sunday... left the weekly post so that it would post itself. did some random things, chatted with a friend then got a message from T.R.I.V.I. and another one from my friend.... it was about Gvantsa. As I was on my way I had no idea what to think. I still don't believe or fully realize what happened. I just know it happened. Anyways... I spent very little time at home this week, I actually didn't come home that night.
I don't really feel like going into any details. This week was dark, sad, crazy, full of anger, 117 white roses, full of cigarette smoke, crying, reminiscing, even laughing. It was too unbearable so we would talk about very random things and end up laughing about them. Laughing very hard while realizing we had nothing to laugh about.
I got very quite, I'm trying to speak up. I can barely hear myself if I decide to talk to someone.
I'm slowly going back to being me, I just need a little more time.
I'm gonna leave this post like this. This week is over... Tomorrow is the first day of summer. Moving on...

the UnWavering uncut (Pt 1 of 2)

Trying to do this post early cause I have to be at work in less than an our. This week had a lot going on. My work schedule is getting busy. Some people from last semester are requesting my services again (that's a good thing). One person canceled their tutoring before even coming to one session! If she does not need it (all of a sudden) then good for her :)

The above picture is from one of the classes I take notes in. The students are future electricians or something related. All the teachers refer to me as "note taker" until I tell them that I graduated (not from there) and will be attending medical school.....then they want to know my name!
(never know what you will see when driving)

R.I.P. to Mr. Hamin, his kids have and will continue to make him happy. Cancer seems like something we will all have to endure if we hope to live to old age. Moving on, actually.......I'm leaving (like Igor in a skype chat). I will just add another part no later than tomorrow.

Free Flowin Fridayz (Week 9)

Things always happen the way they do for a reason...right? Or so we are told. I like to believe so, but sometimes the reason chooses to remain elusive-in my case, it seems-indefinitely. You might make plans for things to happen a certain way, and you even had back-up plans in mind, but then what do you do when ALL these plans just seem to fall through? Or if they don't fall through completely they become a big, yucky mess of crap? Well my dear friends, I have no answer for this one. I wish I did. I WISHI knew...something...anything!
At this point I know nothing, and the summer isn't much of a summer when your living in limbo. You can't quite relax, and you have no idea what your doing/what to do. Alas let me stop beating around the bush and just explain the dilemma I currently face and who knows maybe one of you might have better pointers than all the 'adults.'

So, med school is currently not on the horizon. The way it stands I am rather burntout and considering the fact that I KNOW I NEED a lot of time to study for the MCAT to ensure that I do better, I need to give myself this summer to recoup, make some many, spend time with family, etc. Thus, it does not look like I will be repplying for the entering class of 2010, but instead 2011 since I probably won't be retaking the MCAT until September at the earliest, but prob January *this is the first big well DAMN this wasn't how I planned things to be, definitely wasn't planning to take 2 years off* Now this Jan MCAT option is only if I don't get into a post-bac or Master's program. Now here is *oh shit dilemma 2*. Should I really do a post-bac or master's and if not what the hell else would I be doing? The more I look at these post-bacs, the more I wonder..will I really have adequate time to prep for the test from hell? or will I repeat Junior year all over again? ALSO these programs are EXPENSIVE and they don't offer very good 'free money' or grants...[I mean not that I've gotten into one yet, but my brain always things of a bunch of things at a time]  So the main question is post-bac or not? and if not..then what will I be doing for 2 years? I could study real hard for the MCAT, retest, and then maybe go to Egypt to study for Arabic or stay here and take a science course at UNF, while possibly getting research experience somewhere or finding a medical or non-profit job of some kind  (or of course I could try this same group of things (research and Arabic in Egypt for a semester, maybe even with a science class on the side-and I haven't been to Egypt since 2005)..and the list goes on. I really hate this 2-years off thing, cuz then I coulda just applied for Teach for America...*sigh* What's worse is that me having no idea what my schedule is like causes my family's plans to be put on hold...and there is nothing I can do about it :/

So this is why life isn't as exciting as it could be right now [no I'm sorry Yazzy comments needed :) ] and I apologize in advance if you have to put up with me if I mention it to you in the next few weeks. For this is how I will be until I have made a decision. I thank those dearly, who have already put up with me.

L.A.S.E.R.S.

Lasers are the opposite of losers. Lasers are shining beams of light that burn through the darkness of ignorance. Lasers shed light on injustice and inequality. Losers stand by and let things happen. Lasers act and shape their own destinies. Lasers find meaning and direction in the mysteries all around them. Lasers stand for love and compassion. Lasers stand for peace. Lasers stand for progression. Lasers are revolutionary.
Lasers Are The Future.

New Life!

DAY 1- The Road

So this week is orientation my first week in medical school. So I have decided to chronicle my adventures during orientation in a couple of post. This week has been very interesting. The road to medical school was hard literally and figuratively. During my week off I decided to work at the summer camp and help prepare and plan, which is good since i need money. But between working and being lazy I ended up packing the day before and finish packing the day of. So I left home on Monday to head to Tallahasee which is usually about a 7 hour drive. I was not fortunate to find anyone to ride along with me so I decided to drive alone. On the way there I was driving an average of about 85 mph on the turnpike and on pace to make it to Tallahasee in 6 hours. It was cool since I was jumping from pack to pack keeping up with the same cars for long periods of time. I stopped a couple just outside of Ocala to fill up my car. I made it there in about 3 and 1/2 hours. When I stop to pump gas I ran into one of my old high school friends. Then a little up the road by gainsville everything went bad. Out of nowhere my car front driver side tire got a flat and I was forced to pull over and stop after going 90 mph. This was so frustrating because now I had to unpack all my stuff in the trunk and pull out the space tire. In my trunk I had all my heavist stuff and some other food items. I was used to this because I have been changing tires for a while. What made this frustrating was since I was on the side of the road cars were passing me at speeds of over 100 mph. This cause the jack that was holding up my car twice! After the first time I placed the lugnut remover as a wedge to stop the back tire from moving. The second time it fell I was so upset because I had already moved the tire and the car fell on the brake plate and roll over the lugnut remover. I took extra precautions the next time I lifted the car and places the new tire on as quick as I could to avoid any other problems. When I put the tire on I was only allowed to tighen the nuts with my hand since my car had rolled over the bar. I had to back the car out and get the stick then tighen the nuts in the rain. Then I had to make a stop in Gainsville in order to get a new tire just in case this happened again. I ended up going to Sears and got the tire replaced. After a short while I was back on the road. Then I got caught in some huge rain strom where I could not see more that 3 feet in front of the car. That was crazy and all the cars turned on thier emergency lights. I was able to get to Tallahassee around 8 and unpack some of the stuff out of my car. Come back soon for the next day edition . Their are some interesting plans that I have decided to enroll in.

FEAR

During my roommate finder a few weeks back, each person had to answer a question randomly picked for the whole class to hear. Mine was "what do you fear?". I do not fear anything but if I did.....hear is what they would be:

1. Failure - I feel as though the more success I have, the more I am threatened by failure because it would be such a let down as well as unexpected.

2. Being A Burden - This would be one of the worst feelings possible. I don't want to be anybody's burden for any reason, small or big. Due to this, I try to never let anyone feel as though they were a burden on me....I think.

3. Myself - Everyone is fully capable of being their own worst enemy. We are born imperfect and while most realize this, we are often unable to overcome our weaknesses in certain situations.

4. Success - It may seem weird but depends on your situation. Personal success for me has taken me away from a lot of people I care about (while also introducing me to new people and opportunity). While going to college is great, I must acknowledge that I had to say "goodbye" to a lot of people and things....some bad, some good.

5. Dissappointment - Not people dissappointmenting me, rather the other way around. I am used to people letting me down (I know that sounds a little depressing) but I try not to do the same for those I care about. This can be hard when people expect more than they really should.

Someone told me that courage was not the lack of fear, but rather the control of it. I felt like mentioning that. So, if you guys had fear(s), what would they be?

Medical School analogy

"Medical school is like throwing mud at a wall. The professors are up their flinging it at us, and we have to let it hit us. The mud hits the wall sticks for a little while and then most of it falls off, but a little bit of it stays behind. So you keep doing this for years until your wall is covered in mud."

~no idea who said this or if it's from a book or something, I just randomly happened to come across it and it seems like valid comparison, but obvioulsy I am nowhere near med school right now so I'm no expert...~

So for the last two days, I went to sleep thinking that I could sleep late (by my standards) and just chill. But, for the last two days I have been awoken to phone calls asking me to work. Next month when I get paid for these hours, there will be no complaints but for now I am a little irritated. After talking with my other boss not too long ago, I officially have my Monday-Friday work schedule in place. At least tonight I will know to set an alarm rather than having my morning snooze interrupted.

NBA Playoffs

It seems that so many people want to see a Kobe vs LeBron matchup in the finals (including me) but all signs show that it is going to be unlikely. While the Lakes have their hands full with the Denver Nuggets, it is the Cavaliers who are most likely to disappoint the masses.

LeBron is doing his thing but his teammates just don't matchup well with the Orlando Magic. I am not sure if I think the series will go 7 games. I am pulling for the Cavs but they look......bad right now. I put much of the responsibility on the lack of coaching adjustments. To Coach Brown, play LeBron at the power forward position, please!

The Lakers are not as good as their talent would have you believe. With that said, they should still win the serious but Denver is going to give them all they can handle.

Song of the Day

Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow

I was sleeping on this song. Plus, I noticed that so many artist are doing their own remix to this. I like Kid Cudi's version the best so far (haven't listened to 50's).

Time to rest before hitting the club (why not? it is a holiday!) and doing the stanky leg!

the UnWavering uncut

My tutoring job has expanded now. The Office for Students With Disabilities (or something like that) needed help and I was recommended for it. So, I now attend classes to take notes for students unable to as well as offer special one-on-one help session. Also, I will probably be doing some TA duties for the Biology class I already take notes in. The note taking has begun but the tutoring will pick up this week and take off.

So, before things get intense and really busy, I took the weekend off to have fun....and I did. You will figure it out via posts throughout the week that include pics & video.

There were a few extremes for me this week and it looks like none of them will be over. June will be a very important month for the present and future. Yesterday, I had a sever scare that almost gave me a heart attack .....but things ended up okay. I took a very very big exhale following the even. No questions please, just know that the situation resolved itself.

I am glad to see H.S. keeping WTP going (from the music perspective) while we continue progress on the SC Approved project. He deserves feed back, so give him some!

What else? Hmmmm, Rho is in the Hall of Fame for chatting. I got to hang out with a good friend this weekend and did a few things I never did before, always exciting. Apparently, I am in what my co-workers (TJ Maxx) call a "lover's quarrel" with another co-worker named I honestly can't remember off the top of my head. It originates from me being "mean to her"...maybe b/c she never got me those gummy bears for graduation? I really do like them so "don't say you will unless you will" - Kanye. Big birthday coming up (no, mine is not for another 4-5 weeks depending on the weather) but I got what I needed to ensure I do this person justice. Almost done with getting out gifts for some of my fellow seniors [no offense rising Emory students, your time will come....and go....sooner than you think]. Treize, one for me!

p.s. is it hard to find a picture frame?

the Hidden Weekly

Week 33

This week went by very quickly. I left work early everyday except for Friday. My cousin decided to baptise her daughter on Monday so I went there plus it was her husband's birthday. We were at the restaurant. My friend (who's also a relative but more of a friend) was there so I didn't feel too uncomfortable with relativesI don't care about and I'm not eager to talk to. I didn't feel like drinking, memories of 3 weeks ago are still (kinda) vivid.lol. Then later I decided to study some more for the final. I looked up a bunch of things on google (don't have a book).

on Monday I had this long talk with a friend. We had to work out certain things and we did. I (both of us) took a huge load of. I went to bed really late and was sleepy the whole next day. I almost fell asleep while studying.

I studied most of the material a few hours before the exam. The exam was easy, I mean it. I was done in 10 minutes maybe less. My friends and I got out in the hallway and we were like: That's how all finals should be. My other class that day got postponed to Saturday, otherwise it was coinciding with the exam. Chatted with Travis and Rho that night. it was good, discussed some of our plans about music, etc.I'm glad Reeci is ready to contribute :)

On Wednesday, we had no electricity at work for some reason so I didn't get to study as much as I wanted to. I didn't have a lot of work since my boss was in Turkey. But the exam was once again easy. Not as easy as on Tuesday but I don't complain. It was open-book and you-can-ask-eachother type of exam. I really doubt someone will have a bad grade.

I also went to this abandoned house at a secret location. The weather was nice (a little windy), I set on the patio and wrote some lyrics.

Things at work went smooth. Did everything I had to do and had plenty of time to not do anything. Somehow our new employee always feels like it's too hot and decreases the temperature of AC. it's not even that hot yet, I wonder how he will survive the summer. But he's starting to be annoying running around complaining that it's too hot, that's it's hard to breath. It's funny actually.

My friends called me on Friday. We went to our school, got inside the building. it was like going to our childhood and teenager years. a lot of memories. The security was gone for some reason and the building was open. Things changed a little there but most of it is still the same. Then some of us went to my block, we hung out there, waiting for girls to come. We just drove around the city for a little while. It was a great day. I don't see them as much as I want to.

this kid doesn't really care about studying on the weekend, does he?

Class of '05

Saturday, I waited for one text message that I never got but it's ok. I went to work for a very short time. Then came back home to record something. I studied a little as well as I had the class at 7. The class was boring, man. I almost fell asleep. Then this thunderstorm started. The rain was crazy, we couldn't see anything because of water pooring down. Some parts of the city got flooded, some parts of the city were left without electricity. That was the case at my school. It was already dark, the lights went out right before the quiz so the prof had to just let us go. I waited for my dad to pic me for a bit. I made a little video, it's dark but will give you an idea. The thing was over actually but it was still raining heavily.

At home, I chatted with Igor and Travis. It was short so I'm looking forward to the next one. Rho came online later as well.

I did nothing but recording, reading and photoshopping today. It's windy and it rained just a moment ago. It will again, I'm sure. I hate this kinda weather. It's been raining very intensively for all of the weekend.

oh, and this...

Sofa King Hidden

Today, I re-recorded this using Audacity and decided to put it up. It's a DOOM inspired track. Thanks T.R.I.V.I. for the idea and the instrumental.

I'm including two download links in case there's a problem with one of them. Listen and let me know what you think

Free Flowin Fridayz

I think I will remain in denial until August or at least until I have a clue what I am going to be doing with my life. Until then I shall ignore the fact that I will not be seeing my dear old Emory and precious friends for a while. -The End for now-

It seems like college friendships might actually be stronger than those we have previously established due solely to the fact that we spent soo much time together. That being said I am praying with all my heart that some are maintained to the extent that will make me happy. So far one is proceeding much better than expected from the other friend's side and I have to start pulling my weight to before I am outdone! Hopefully this can be maintained and strengthened. ESPECIALLY before certain ppl go down career paths that make me worried and queasy :/

Life throws us many obstacles indeed. I am not one to ever say the "Q" word. (hint: begins with Q ends with it and has a "u" in between) I do not easily give up, nor am I easily discouraged. But even a steel wall will show evidence of wear and tear by way of dents after being brutally attacked/beaten up. In a way I currently feel similar to that steel wall. *SiGh*
So many people are figuring out their paths and I am going into month 12 or straight application writing. I am tired, worn and beaten though still breathing, but-at times it seems-barely. I mean after all we're only human, and since I can't see into the future each rejection letter just makes me not want to apply to any more things and just sleep. Better yet-HIBERNATE!

Then there is the issue of having soo many options you don't know what to do. Mom says do this, professors says that, advisor says X. No two say the same thing and it sucks because then your stuck deciding on your own and risking a huge disappointment for someone but most importantly yourself.

Graduation Edition

Okay so I just got off work at 11:10 pm after getting to work today at 10:30am.That was cool cause I was on the clock and not really doing any real work for the latter end of that. After 7pm I was waiting for my boss to finish a conversation with her wedding planner to go to wal-mart with her to get some supplies. I spent the last couple of hours of work putting together a poster board project for my bosses daughter on Nigeria which was cool.

But , Graduation has come and gone and with it my undergraduate career. Right now I am very excited because after all my education and money spent I finally have this highly regarded piece of paper that shows that I am a educated individual to society. Graduation was such a happy time.

This young man Travis Vincent Meadows finally got the opportunity to walk across the stage. I was so proud of T.R.I.V.I. and Trezie. These two men has been by my side throughout this long process and it is great to know that we all have grown and matured throughout the years. It was great to spend my last moments with the people I have grown to love over these last two years. It was also a moment of saddness because I am leaving my friends behind that I wish I had more time to get to know.
More Deep Blue G to come this is just a short post before I head to sleep. Gotta be at work at 9:30 tomorrow.

New Music (Instrumentals) - Pelican City

Before Danger Mouse (half of Gnarls Barkley) was making beats for rappers, he was known as Pelican City. These are two of his instrumentals albums. I listened to his "Rhode Island" and loved it. The tone is a little sad but very realistic sounding, a realistic feel to it. I just wanted you to have the option of hearing it.

the UnWavering uncut

I was so humbled this week when I opened up my gift envelopes for graduation. I will never forget those who are helping me reach & accomplish my goals. One day, I will be in a position to offer them something to show my gratitude (other than "thank you so much").

I have been getting a lot of funny text messages this past week....probably over my limit. Apparently Geden had some car trouble on the interstate. I think he is just bad luck when in a motor vehicle.

Been working (time to make money again). Had a nice direct deposit on Friday, almost at my goal [ of money to save for school in the fall ]. I am supposed to meet with some people this week about some important things. My aunt has volunteered me to speak or something at church, not sure if I am going to do it. Also, I am not sure if I have a choice. One of my old high school teachers is requesting my presence. You ever feel like you are being pulled in too many directions by people?

My summer plans have been moved from "tentative" to "doubtful" but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just because you are able to do something does not mean it is the best time to do it. It sucked accepting this and I thought it would be harder to share it with those effected by it (not the case). It is weird when you feel tense about something then share it and that person or people are not tense at all about it.

What else? Hmmmm...Igor is personally responsible for me exceeding my text limit, LOL. People, he suggested I suffered from "lezzines". Reesy finally got to listen to the mixtape, yessir!!! Seeing the response to my Trivial Questions makes me want to ask more, so expect that this week.

acts from the festival

let's see if you can stand them :)
I would rap over some of the Cheese People instrumentals (some)

Update: The Blueprints

The Progress:

So as things begin to shape up, this project is becoming what I desired it to be which is a showcase of TREIZE. He is living up to my expectation and also going to a deeper depth lyrically (that I can appreciate). I recognize that as he send my his material, my competitive instinct is to write more so as not to become......a faded presence. I have an ego to keep!

The tracks are coming together. I like how we are sounding.

The Features:

So DJ G came up with a few good ideas for us to use and already completed his feature. I am eager to get one more feature from H.S. but have to communicate with TREIZE on that. The track is something that I had planned for the GTG mixtape but never happened.

Other Related News:

So I am trying to get Igor...oops, I mean IGZ, to record a little with me. We will see what happens next weekend. Give him time to ponder on this.

the Hidden Weekly

Week 32

It's been a good one, I actually have a lot of material for this week. I made some videos this time. I didn't have any major assignments during the week which was good. I had things to do outside the office, the traffic was always crazy so I took time to write some stuff. random things that I might use for some future songs. Tuesday was a holiday but I stll had to go to class. I was trying very hard not to fall asleep. Then I went to work because the racks for advertismenets were to be delivered but they weren't. What a waste of time. Anyways, they got delifevered on Wednsday after I was already gone to school. We had a quiz that no one was prepared for. But everybody in the group united forces and shared the info. The teacher didn't even care, she says that's a good way to learn (not sure about that) but anyways, it was funny. Then this chick had 3 presentations to do because she missed too many classes. And I had to listen to that.

People started to pay attention one we installed the racks at the business centre. We have a poster and a lot of flyers on there so that they can take them and learn about us. The racks aren't made from a very strong material so people better be careful and not break them.

Thursday was a birthday of my fellow exchange student. she goes to the same school also. Well, she told me when she saw me during the break. my phone was off so I didn't receive her text about. I was very tired but I still went. hung out for a couple of hours and then got back home.

This week was all about music in Tbilisi. Xzibit, Coolio (does anyone care about him anymore) and Jim Jones visited... or maybe jim jones has yet to do a show. I didn't go to any of those shows. It was overpriced and overrated so why would I?

Then there's this Open Air music festival that started on Friday and finishes tonight. I went on Friday. They have some of the most unknown, weird artists there. It's mostly rock, folk and shit like that. Maybe some electronic music or whatever it's called. Well, I enjoyed one of the groups that day. The Traveling Band from UK. Their music seems to be stuck in 60's or 70's but it's ok. There was also the band called Cheese People from Russia. Most of the people hated them. I gotta admit that the lead singer was annoying with that voice she had but the music was fire, so out of the world, hardcore and very energetic. So I kinda like them as well. We (former exchange student) were supposed to meet up there but not everyone made it. our friend introduced us to her Boyfriend who visited this week. He's from US. They're a funny couple. What else... the rest of the even was boring, I didn't feel comfortable in that crowd at all. My friends were there but they did enjoy the whole thing so I was still seperated from it all. I also had to worry about certain things so I wasn't not in the mood. Plus I got a little mad at someone so I left. I wrote Some Kinda Song on the way home.

I did some work yesterday, more than I usually do on Saturdays. I took a walk, got home. I was tired so I just didn't some random stuff on the computer. Watched Prison Break season final. Actually it was a final episode overall I think.

Managed to chat with the TRIVI (where did "the" come from?) It was a good chat, discussed some of our plans, some issues too. We're going strong and that's the way it's gonna stay.

I had a final in French today. I am done with that class forever!. I'm gonna study french but however I want to. Maybe go to Paris and say bonjour to some french girls. Audacity is a very useful application, it's much easier to record.

I really loved what I got in the mailbox today. It made my day, got nodding my head and smiling.

Some Kinda Song

I decided to post this track. I had no intention of writing it... something made me so I'll just put it out there.

Free Flowin Fridayz (Saturday edition)

Just got back home about 2 hours ago. Van is full to the MAX..no idea how I am going to unpack everything or where I'm going to put it. Anywhooo...that's why this post is late. Also I am still in complete denial about Monday and have yet to become anything but numb, so instead of discussing May 11 right now ( I think I will postpone that until next week) I have decided to share a poem I wrote as one of my assignments for my Comparative Literature class. It will serve as a good segue into what I will probably want to discuss later on. It is called a Sestina, which is a poem in a VERY specific poetic form (Google it to read up on the stipulations of how it must be written). It took me about 6-8 total hours of thinking and editing, etc to get the product I turned in. I myself cannot even explain what I mean by some of the things I wrote, but it was what my pen put on paper. And seeing how you are all friends that I truly love and value-after much debate- I have decided to share it with you. Comment/Discuss as you see fit:
***each stanza is actually 6 lines and the last is 3lines-the formatting on the blog may throw it off a bit***

Dear Friend

Friendship is like a roller coaster ride

filled with many twist and turns

that leave you fearing for your life.

Regardless of your terror you know you love

it and how happy it makes you

feel. You are flying almost like in your dreams.

But in those dreams,

you get on this ride

with your best friend. You

know he hates coasters and turns

to you and says, “I love

you dearly, but I fear for my life!”

“Fear not my friend,” you say, “for your life

is not one I would risk. Not in my wildest dreams!”

The connection you share is based on a mutual love

and respect for each other, not on a free ride

you can get to the airport. He turns

around, looks at the roller coaster and says to you,

“Fine, I’ll do this just for you.”

Those words are enough to make life

worthwhile. But soon this dream turns

into reality and you realize that not all dreams

come true the way you want them to. You ride

along the road of life hoping that the love

you give will be returned. Such a strong love

between friends is one that you

have always wished for and for which, you would ride

to the ends of the Earth and back. Life

means nothing without this bond and your dreams

mean the most when you have someone to share them with.Turns

out that this challenge of friendship turns

your heart inside out and spreads your love

all around. While it may be that your dreams

rarely come true, in the end it is up to you

to make the most of your life.

And never forget to enjoy the ride.

Your friendship turns many heads and raises skeptical eyebrows, but you

know the truth, believe in its depth and do your best to love your friend and the life

he lives, knowing that dreams are only as precarious as the roller coaster you choose to ride.

New Music - J Dilla & Eminem

DOWNLOAD

I had never heard of this. So, apparently this is his 1st album (I guess before becoming big after teaming with Dr. Dre). Well, download and see what we got...

A collection of various artists (The Roots, Erykah Badu, etc) over J Dilla [rip] beats. I expect it to be real smooth but let us see...

TREIZE & TRUTH VOL. 5

So welcome to the real world huh? Not really....I will say it's nice to have a break from the pressure of Emory, but it gets back into full swing with Chem 141 and another English Class I have to take this summer to be officially done on June 26. Graduation week was just insane. If anyone knows me, they know I hate schedules and thoroughly despise doing things back to back. This made for an interesting weekend, one that was full of frustration and aggravation.

As TRIVI mentioned, we weren't able to make as much progress on the mixtape as he would like, but I think we did a lot of good things in terms of getting a better understanding of what the collab will be like and each other's styles. I don't feel like it needs to be more inclusive *HINT*-- We just gotta be smart about timing-there was no way I was gonna be able to write and record with all the crap that was goin' on. On top of recording this CD, I moved into my new apartment, my job search continues, graduation, my girl, my fam, just a lot. No surprise that as soon as I got some free time this past week, I was able to get some good stuff done. I have my own mic now, so I'm gonna lay down some quality material and TRIVI and I will knock this out. Priority is my paper though. I have to keep everything in perspective (especially post May 11)

I'm really glad to be done with Emory (for the most part) since usually summer school is a little more tolerable. I can't say I hated the experience because I'm a glutton for drama and that, there was plenty of. However, I do feel like if I could do it all over, I wouldn't have gone there. Just not my style.

I'm in the process of getting my apartment near Emory together. It's ok but I have my issues with it. Visit and we can discuss them lol.

I'll try to stay consistent with these posts--the quicker I do what I need to do, the quicker I'll be doing what I want to do.

I have anticipated this more than Eminem's Relapse. Got it yesterday and eager to finish listening sometime this weekend. Enjoy! (Good start to the weekend).
