the Hidden Weekly

Week 40

I guess the Hidden Weekly will become a thing of Mondays from now on (or whenever I want). Let's see... last week was interesting. Got to talk to some of my favorite people so we could update eachother a litlle bit.

I finaly finalized a deal and made my first big sale (well, technically it's second) which was good. I'm working on more. I went to withdraw the money on Wednesday. I wasn't the account holder or the man with me who just had the authority to withdraw a specific amount. There was a mistake in Bank records and it took them 4 hours to check everything (all it really took was one call). I was tired and hungry as I couldn't leave the bank until I had the money.

I wish all of it was mine... :)

As for my health... I feel better lately, don't have problems with breathing as often as I've had for a few weeks before.

for the negotiations class we had the case where I had to negotiate with five people but my role had a good standing so it wasn't hard. I tend to do well when it's about construction or investment companies.

Saturday was my boss' birthday. He didn't plan on celebrating but decided to later. We went to the same restaurant as in May when I got sick. We even sat at the same table but no accident happened this time. All I did was eat non stop. That's what I try to do lately. We had fun. You can't take that away from him, he knows how to party. I got home at about 2 am (something like that) and I decided to record. My parents were out of town so I wouldn't wake up anyone (... don't care about neighbors). I Wrote a couple of songs worth putting out there. you'll hear them when the times is right. The best thing is that I was able to get a load off my chest and I feel much better. Then I started to edit, had to rerecord some stuff. I realized that I need a better mic. I still make better tracks than some people with studio time. I went to bed at 5 or 5:30 that night, the sun was starting to rise, it was quite and a little windy. Felt good. I miss staying up like that. I love to go to bed in the morning but I also like to sleep. That doesn't work with having a job very well.

Sunday was all about sleeping late and then going out of town to get some fresh air at my house. It has one of the best gardens around. With all the trees in there, the air is amazing even though it's next to the main road.

the Hidden Weekly

Week 38

I got home at midnight this Sunday so I just went straight to bed planning to post on Monday. On Monday I ended up making a Windy post and completely forgot the weekly wasn't done yet. I realized this last night. Anyways... Here's the Hidden Weekly on Tuesday.

Last week started with climbing... yeah, we reached a new level of connection and the view from up here is amazing. That made me feel really good for the whole week. Things at work go at the same pace, got a lot to do at times while I also have some free time like right now. School might get tough on me this semester. This group project we have to do is important and will take a lot to complete. The good part is that we already have an idea and data for it. The professor for that class is a mean asshole. I mean in a funny and offensive way... comedy. He makes all those sarcastic jokes and makes fun of our comments too (not something  teacher should be doing) but he's funny as hell. My schedule is very inconvinient too. I don't get home till 9:30-10:00pm except for Monday and Thursday... and I got class on Saturday. If that's what it takes to graduate... so be it.

Salome went to Italy for 2 months and we had a little surprise party for her to say goodbye. It was a good night.

I worked on some songs this weekend. I redid my verses and tried to be more expressive with my voice. I think I'm on the right track.

On Sunday I had a class (instead of Saturday) during which I texted Data and my friend and asked them if they wanted to hang out in Tskneti. I din't want to go alone. So we went there, enjoyed the fresh air, got to act silly and childish then ended up at my friends house back in Tbilisi. Then it hit me... I stopped talking, I hardly smiled...

...I had writer's block for the whole week. I finally started to write on Sunday and hopefully I'll be in full force this week and complete some stuff. Gotta work around my schedule. The thing is my head is full of too many thoughts, I can't concentrate. Plus I might just get stuck on one issue and not think about anything else. I've been thinking and I think I haven't fully recovered since Gvanta's passing. Sometimes those events pop up in my head and I have to go thought it again. my mood swings too much. I might be in a great mood at the moment but I might get sad the next minute. As in; I talk a lot, make comments and jokes and then I get silent, being unable to crack a smile. I don't really like being this way. It makes me feel alienated from everyone... I'm normally fine with being out of this world but right now that means being in the dark place. There's another thing (or person) that I constantly think about but I don't want to get into that right now... not on the blog.

That it for this week. Hopefully my head doesn't explode or anything.

the Hidden Weekly

Week 35

This week felt like getting out from a dark room, feeling good but the light still hits you in the eyes. I was very busy everyday which was good because it definitely kept me from relapsing into that depressed state I was in last week. I figured that since I can't change anything and bring anyone back I gotta enjoy the life because that's what that person would wish for me. I was in a much better mood this week but very little things can take me back as I haven't fully recovered. There were some things that I had to worry about this week, some family matters, some issues between my friends. At one point I thought everything was breaking apart but it will be just fine.

I enjoyed working this week. I did a lot and that's how I'm gonna continue to. Definitely expect this thing to payoff. The sales of an apartment complex our investors own have started and many people want to buy... there's even a waiting list but everyone is trying to make us reduce prices and shit. I get a cut from these sales so someone better buy it already. One family backed out right before they had to come in to sign a contract. Then they came back and might still buy. I don't have the picture of the newspaper ad I did, I'll post it tomorrow from work. Later tomorrow we're gonna have a little celebration of my birthday at work. That's how it always happens.

Friday was my friend's birthday. It was a pretty crazy night, can't say I enjoyed all of it though.

This I got to chat with T.R.I.V.I. a lot, have that conference scheduled. I chatted with Igor too.lol. We always have very interesting conversations. He can explain it if he wants to, I know he checks the blog so he might as well read the Hidden Weekly right?

I have been chatting with the same person everyday for more than 6 months straight (missing several day here and there). it's funny but sometimes I just get on skype only for that reason, it's like I can't go to bed if we don't have a conversation.

T.R.I.V.I. and I are strying to get some people post more material including videos. Both have gladly agreed so expect that.

Yesterday I met with former exchange student from Armenia. She visited my friend (they attended the same university). She brought some Armenian-Americans along. We showed them around. It was good the weather was nice during the day. We def had fun. I received some more feedback about my songs. It was very positive. My friend asked me to put him on one of the songs, just to say couple of words. I got no problem with that.

Later we got some food and as we reached the bus stop it started to rain.

It was pretty similar weather today. Started with rain... then it was sunny as you can see below

but then, when I got my backpack and left the house, it started to rain. Before I reached the bus stop a nice BMW (X5) stopped by me, I kep walking at it kept driving. at first I was like WTF (not the family) but then a kid opened the door and told me they would give me a ride if I was going back to the city. Feels good to meet some kind people. It was a mother and her 3 children. They gave me a ride to my home even though they were going the other way. It started to rain like crazy, the water was flowing in the streets. Now it has stopped.

No celebration this year... I don't feel like partying for any reason yet (even if it's my own Birthday). I received a lot of phone call, text messages, wall posts, Skype messages and the blog posts of course. Thank You.

Update: got to chat with Yaz, She covered all fields... that's how fellow June Geminis do

the Hidden Weekly

Week 34

I left of last Sunday... left the weekly post so that it would post itself. did some random things, chatted with a friend then got a message from T.R.I.V.I. and another one from my friend.... it was about Gvantsa. As I was on my way I had no idea what to think. I still don't believe or fully realize what happened. I just know it happened. Anyways... I spent very little time at home this week, I actually didn't come home that night.
I don't really feel like going into any details. This week was dark, sad, crazy, full of anger, 117 white roses, full of cigarette smoke, crying, reminiscing, even laughing. It was too unbearable so we would talk about very random things and end up laughing about them. Laughing very hard while realizing we had nothing to laugh about.
I got very quite, I'm trying to speak up. I can barely hear myself if I decide to talk to someone.
I'm slowly going back to being me, I just need a little more time.
I'm gonna leave this post like this. This week is over... Tomorrow is the first day of summer. Moving on...

the Hidden Weekly

Week 33

This week went by very quickly. I left work early everyday except for Friday. My cousin decided to baptise her daughter on Monday so I went there plus it was her husband's birthday. We were at the restaurant. My friend (who's also a relative but more of a friend) was there so I didn't feel too uncomfortable with relativesI don't care about and I'm not eager to talk to. I didn't feel like drinking, memories of 3 weeks ago are still (kinda) vivid.lol. Then later I decided to study some more for the final. I looked up a bunch of things on google (don't have a book).

on Monday I had this long talk with a friend. We had to work out certain things and we did. I (both of us) took a huge load of. I went to bed really late and was sleepy the whole next day. I almost fell asleep while studying.

I studied most of the material a few hours before the exam. The exam was easy, I mean it. I was done in 10 minutes maybe less. My friends and I got out in the hallway and we were like: That's how all finals should be. My other class that day got postponed to Saturday, otherwise it was coinciding with the exam. Chatted with Travis and Rho that night. it was good, discussed some of our plans about music, etc.I'm glad Reeci is ready to contribute :)

On Wednesday, we had no electricity at work for some reason so I didn't get to study as much as I wanted to. I didn't have a lot of work since my boss was in Turkey. But the exam was once again easy. Not as easy as on Tuesday but I don't complain. It was open-book and you-can-ask-eachother type of exam. I really doubt someone will have a bad grade.

I also went to this abandoned house at a secret location. The weather was nice (a little windy), I set on the patio and wrote some lyrics.

Things at work went smooth. Did everything I had to do and had plenty of time to not do anything. Somehow our new employee always feels like it's too hot and decreases the temperature of AC. it's not even that hot yet, I wonder how he will survive the summer. But he's starting to be annoying running around complaining that it's too hot, that's it's hard to breath. It's funny actually.

My friends called me on Friday. We went to our school, got inside the building. it was like going to our childhood and teenager years. a lot of memories. The security was gone for some reason and the building was open. Things changed a little there but most of it is still the same. Then some of us went to my block, we hung out there, waiting for girls to come. We just drove around the city for a little while. It was a great day. I don't see them as much as I want to.

this kid doesn't really care about studying on the weekend, does he?

Class of '05

Saturday, I waited for one text message that I never got but it's ok. I went to work for a very short time. Then came back home to record something. I studied a little as well as I had the class at 7. The class was boring, man. I almost fell asleep. Then this thunderstorm started. The rain was crazy, we couldn't see anything because of water pooring down. Some parts of the city got flooded, some parts of the city were left without electricity. That was the case at my school. It was already dark, the lights went out right before the quiz so the prof had to just let us go. I waited for my dad to pic me for a bit. I made a little video, it's dark but will give you an idea. The thing was over actually but it was still raining heavily.

At home, I chatted with Igor and Travis. It was short so I'm looking forward to the next one. Rho came online later as well.

I did nothing but recording, reading and photoshopping today. It's windy and it rained just a moment ago. It will again, I'm sure. I hate this kinda weather. It's been raining very intensively for all of the weekend.

oh, and this...

Week 29

Monday was a holiday. I got some sleep but not as much as I wanted to. I started the day by listening to the mixtape that was posted on Sunday. I can't get enough of certain songs and I'm glad we managed to do something like this. There's plenty of things to work on now. Everything we do in the future has to be bigger and better. I went to see my grandmother for a bit, then went to our house in Tskneti (suburb of Tbilisi) which was really good. The weather was nice, I got to relax for a little bit.

Travis and I finailzed the bonus as well. That's just a little follow up of the mixtape.

The rest of the week was the same as always. Doing work then going to classes to do some more work. They were filming something at school this Tuesday. I don't for what it was. The news or some film the administration might be doing but I'm in the shot only because I was too lazy to get up and get away from the camera. I'm not excited about my school at all. The thing is that everyone on the shot is studying or something but I was listening to iPod, singin a long to Bob Marley.

I got the grades back for the French midterm. I got 92 which is great.

I had to run around this Thursday and Friday. I was auditing some apartments. it was interesting because I'm not really an auditot although that's how I was introduced. I didn't really care I was glad I had to do it because it allowed me to leave the office. I went all over the city. The apartments and other properties I visited belonged to people who want to get loans from our company.

The semester is slowly approaching its end and I have just a little bit more to study and work. I didn't do a lot of work during the semester and fortunately that doesn't mean I have to catch up with too much. Some of my friends listened to the mixtape saying it's cool that we managed to do all this being so far apart. They just don't now how close we actually are.

I got a call on Friday, right before midnight. My friends asked me to come over, tey were hanging out down the street. I figured I could go for a little while just to say hi. It was good to see them. I had some drink and was veeery close to smoking some weed but I don't feel like doing that at this point. It was tempting though.

I took some pics with my cell phone:

Salome trying to hide her face.

Saturday: I went to post office after work. I had to send my tax return. Met up with Neliko on the way. we spent the rest of the time just walking around and going to this place in the video. it used to be a hotel but now it has apartments. A very nice and old building. (that cat was very friendly)

Then I went to school to discuss the details of our presentation with my groupmates. I finally went home after that. I was tired but happy because it was a good day. Of course I ended up on Skype later on.

I went to a Leo Club meeting today. We have a presentation and an opening ceremony next Sunday. Then I just came home. wrote my part of the presentation, studied some french. Listened to Mike Skinner (the Streets) a lot.

The blog became very active this week which I really like and that gives me ideas about the future of WTP and the blog. TREIZE is contributing a lot and he's doing a great job. Of course Yasmeen continues to make FFF which I really like and I can never wait for it to get posted. Thank you all. This definitely means there are more posts coming, more projects and more video episodes.

Week 26

I got my grades back today for 2 of the 3 tests. Got an A and a B. That's great.

Class got canceled on Tuesday. I went to this exhibition that Leo Club of Tbilisi organised. Children who were displaced because of war exhibited their paintings. Felt good to be a part of that. I haven't been able to participate a lot but I'm going to allocate some time somehow to get involved in the activities of the Club. We invited a news reporter of one of the TV channels. She used to be my classmate. I haven't seen her since school. I'll just say this; she's a rude bitch. I regreted talking to her because people were like; do you know her? what is wrong with her? She insulted the children asking what was wrong with them and shit. Then she added that she didn't care (not in those words), she was there to get the material and leave. Shame, shame shame...

Anyways... the weather was great that day. I took a walk, Went home. Texted Neliko to see what she was up to. We ended up hanging out at Data's apartment. I also watched Taken.. it was good to watch, entertaining but I can't say I liked it.

I had to run between classes and work on Wednesday. I hate Wednesdays (hating is fine in '09). Last semester it was Monday, now it's Wednesday: 12 hours of work.

Thursday was a very busy day at work. I didn't have that much to do but lawyers did. They prepared several contracts that had to be signed that day. Even I had to help them out. It was also one of my coworkers birthday. We managed to buy some shampagne and wine, get some food a cake and had a little celebration while others were stuck dealing with contracts in the city council. I was late for the class but I made a call ahead of time. I was a little tipsy. I listened to the prof. and then wrote the quiz. I expect a 100. Then my friend gave me a ride home (you know the one with a car but without a license).

I also went to take some pictures of the building we have apartments for sale in.

As always I was very glad when Friday came because that means some rest. Didn't do anything entertaining this Weekend. I worked for more than I usually do this Saturday. The rest of the day was all about recording, learning to do some effects on Photoshop. Chatting with Neliko who went to Poland that night. Then I watched Quantum of Solace and liked it. Just another Bond movie. I'm not really a fan.

I did some recording today. Went to a Leo Club meeting which was at my school, studied, did some reading. just random stuff.

My friend Levan (remeber him, Travis?) and I discussed what we can do when we graduate on the way back after the meeting. We both want to be independent and do our thing. Time will tell... depends on how hard we work of course.

I took some pics with my cell phone. Enjoy the view from one of the classes at my school.

the Hidden Weekly

Week 21

I've been busy with trying to get the sales going which is almost impossible because of the recession or financial crisis or whatever it's called these days. My dad found out that one private school is looking for a new building so he told me. I made an offer, the principle and the owner of the school like our building but it will be hard for her to buy or rent if she doesn't sell some of her property... it's like a circle now. We'll see what happens. I was pretty busy the first part of the week. I contacted several restaurant companies to offer a partnership deal. I'm still trying to arrange a meeting with one of the managers. We haven't managed to agree on the exact time. On Tuesday, I actually had to go to this Thai restaurant, didn't like the food that much but I met with the senior manager and we arranged a meeting for the next day where the owner would be present as well. I didn't go to that meeting cause I had to be in class. Later on Tuesday; my class was canceled so I went to see my friends. We sneaked into the dorm of a seminary to get on the roof which has a nice view and is good to hang out. We didn't get caught. It was my first time there and it definitely felt like I was walking through chambers in some ancient castle as it was dark and the place is definitely old and not furnished. Then we took a long walk to one of my friends' house. It was a good day, very relaxing.

School was too boring on Wednesday and I got too much homework in French. Our boss left for a week so everyone decided to wear jeans and no ties. All of a sudden we didn't have much to do. Still tried to keep myself busy. I was late for class that day but I didn't get in trouble. The thing is that I was very tired; to the point where I seemed high/drunk. I could not stop talking in class and making random comments. Props to the professor for not saying anything. This chick in class decided to message me but I had no intention of doing that back so I just answered out loud... since no one saw or heard anyone asking me anything, it seemed like I was talking to myself. Someone asked me who I was talking to. lol. Well, I cleared it up though. Damn, it was a weird feeling, pure silliness.

Friday was a lazy day at work. I went out later that night to the same bar I usually go to. It was a karaoke night... I feel asian (ooooowh). I had a lot of fun, it got better and better with each shot of vodka. I danced, sang all the songs... grabbing the mic from others at one point. Definitely decided to dance with girls from the other table... I'm still trying to remember what this chick was telling me... it was loud, I was drunk and I didn't care.

The weather got really cold on Saturday which I didn't like but can't really contol that. I went back to the bar to get those pics posted above. chatted with T.R.I.V.I. and had a video chat with Rho... It was great, it's been a while. It was so good that we had to do it again this morning(for me)/late night(for her). Me and Travis discussed our plans about doing some more songs. I sent my verses today and I'm waiting for some feedback. Other than that my weekend is about studying and blogging. I managed to study a lot today even though I was about to fall asleep after reading the first page, had to take frequent short breaks. Taking one right now.... and that would be it for my week.

update: I definitely had a chat with T.R.I.V.I. after I posted this and received a lot of feedback while giving some myself. theOtherOne joined in too and liked what he heard; A GTG Millie. That was a good finish of a week 21 and a good start of another one. We got plenty of things coming.

the Hidden Weekly

Week 18

This week was pretty good. Same ol' same at work, nothing too exciting has happened. We're just working and joke around in between. The funny thing was to see our boss all dissapointed because he did't catch us doing something other than work. We were watching some funny videos, taking a little break... We laughed vey hard and very quitely but I guess we weren't quite enough. So after awhile he decided to just come to our office to see what was going on. Until he did it we were done, already duscussing some work. He came in and I could see he had no idea what to say so he asked for a random thing. The secretary of our office is literally scared of him. She feels so much better when he's gone. I mean, he's not that bad but it is how it is. Anyways... I got my schedule of classes on Monday. I got excited 'cause I'm only taking 4 classes and I don't have classes neither on Friday nor on Saturday. almost every day ended with me chatting with friends. The blog was definitely very interesting to check out this week. G and Travis taking a trip, Geden having an interview, GT in the booth... all of that. It was a good week.

On Tuesday I went to the electricity company to change the name of the owner who they send bills to our company. When I gave one of the ladies my documents and my request she read the name and told me her grandson was Givi too. She was very nice. Told me she would make sure everything went through. other ladies in the same room were also very cool, offered me to hang out for a little while, since I was Guntsadze (lol).

One of the highlights was definitely a skype chat with my goog, good friend Julya. We hadn't talked in a while so it was good to get updates on eachother. Still haven't figured out who's visiting; me or her. Both of us will try. Ukraine and Georgia aren't that far after all. She promised to check the blog by the way.

On Wednesday I went to school. Both of my classes got canceled that day, I also found out that the schedule was changed a little, signed up for the 4th class I have to take and that was basically it.....

.... well actually, after the first class got canceled some of us were waiting for the second one. It was a french class so not everyone had to stay. We were fooling around for maybe 2 hours. One of them was wearing this lipstick that was very red but didn't make the lips red, you could barely tell she had a lipstick on. So I asked what kind of lipstick was that... it led to two girls and me experimentig to see if there would be a mark left after a kiss. The marks could be barely seen although I had them all over the face (lol). That was fun... then we got told that the 2nd class was canceled as well. So we left. I decided to accompany Ani till her street. I wanted to go to toy store, that was just random. So we went in and after maybe 2 minutes I see my cousin, her sun and husband. It was weird to see them. I don't see them very often and this was 3 days after I visited. As you can tell we're not very close.

I got back to my silly self. The school will be fun instead of hard work. I also found out that my childhood friend/groupmate got promoted so congratulations to Natia. She's definitely doing her thing.

The weekend was good too. Saturday started with me going to work, I went to the executive director's office and he was listening to 2Pac's Hit 'Em Up. I though that was an interesting selection of a rap song since he listens to mostly Rolling Stones, the Beatles and stuff. Then we had a briefing. After that I had to wait for my dad to pick me up. So I just listened to Wu Ooh couple of times. I could see how my coworker was nodding his head to the beat so I turned it up. Then I went shopping. Felt good to spend some of that money.

Later, at home I decided to record a track as well. You might hear the result soon. Then I went to see my friends, ended up at the bar. No alcohol was involved this time. Later I had a convo with the UnWavering, made plans about music. I also talked with Julya again... it was an interesting conversation. Got two photos from her that I didn't have. That brought a lot of memories.

Sunday aka today... another great day. My friends were walking their dogs. I mean huge dogs. They were near my block so I went outside to see. We hung around in the street while people surrounded us, looking at the dogs. We met Bacho's older brothers who love dogs, we talked for awhile and then they told us we should gather, get some wine and some mtsvadi (consider it a barbeque). Bacho was somewhere else. So we did that, had a lot of fun, very interesting conversations as the brothers told us how they used to survive when they were as old as us in the 90s. I decided to drink vodka though. That wine was very strong so I found a way out. After that I saw Salome, Tika and Devo just like I planned to. We went to a cafe, took a walk and then went seperate ways. It was a great weekend, great, great weekend. That's it for this week.

now, I'll go back to hiding.
