Hotel Geden

Let's call this a "free flow enviroment" where almost anything goes. I appreciate not having to pay any rent.

Lil Wayne- Prom Queen

What does the world think about Weezy's next album? Will the "Rebirth" sell like Tha Carter III or maybe a flop for Wayne?

Food (Leftovers) For Thought

[Givi gave us food...now a few days later, here are my leftovers]

Communication is very dependent upon respect, honesty, and trust. This is especially true when communication is limited to chats and/or email without any face-to-face situations. You must trust that the person will express their thoughts and feeling with their words because you cannot see any facial expressions or feel their attitude. It may seem weird typing "that offends me" or "that hurts" but if you don't....how will the other person know? A lot of miscommunication comes from lack of communication. If person A does not express themself, then person B is left to assume that things are fine (when they might not be).

Whether you think it is small or big, you should make sure the air is clear when dealing with friends. Not that it will become a big deal (if it is really small) but give them the opporunity to explain themself or correctly understand what you are saying.

Where (TR)I(VI) Be

Geden implied that I was above people (or thought I was) but if you look through my eyes you can see why!

the UnWavering uncut

I told Givi that we should "monetize" the blog and see how much we can makes towards bringing him back to the US. I figure it would not hurt to try it out. Just a few advertisements on the sidebars of the blog. Speaking of which, Yaz has continued to free flow and I encourage her to do more of it. This post is late b/c I was spending much of the weekend with the WTF! [I will do more detailed posts of what we did later that include pics and video].
I got things moving for job #2. It feels weird to work in the early morning then work in the late evening. The people are still nice but there are definitely some new faces. I seem to never work when the managers are there, which is good!!! What else?? The Tar Heels of UNC are moving on to the championship game Monday night! I watched half of the game when we got back from Stone Mountain. I made the mistake (and so did Yaz) of wearing clean shoes to a place with wet grass but G let us use his shoe cleaner afterwards.
The list of things from this weekend included: Monsters vs Aliens (IMAX), Fast and Furious, the Vortex, Krispy Kreme, a whole lot of wrong turns/bad directions, CNN Center, a park (not sure how to spell the name), and getting lost in a very rich neighborhood because Geden does not know any street names! Still very fun and exciting the last few days. I did not make it to the B&G clubs but I did end up picking up a bunch of people from it. Seeing and hanging out with G, Yaz, Milla, Ashley, Bianca, Rasheeda (yeah, she's new), Paulee, Jessica, Carlos, Raphael was great. I must admit though, missed H.S. a lot cause he would have enjoyed everything we did.
Before heading home on Sunday, we hit the studio to work on the mixtape......get excited! I got some good material to work with from DJ G and some feature material from the one and only Nile Princess! Mr. Norris waits until I am leavning to call and see what's up so I'll catch him next time. More coming on the weekend.....I can't post anything right now (at work and my flash drives will not fit on this computer).
p.s. I see we are blogging in hidden Georgian messages these days!

the Hidden Weekly

Week 26

I got my grades back today for 2 of the 3 tests. Got an A and a B. That's great.

Class got canceled on Tuesday. I went to this exhibition that Leo Club of Tbilisi organised. Children who were displaced because of war exhibited their paintings. Felt good to be a part of that. I haven't been able to participate a lot but I'm going to allocate some time somehow to get involved in the activities of the Club. We invited a news reporter of one of the TV channels. She used to be my classmate. I haven't seen her since school. I'll just say this; she's a rude bitch. I regreted talking to her because people were like; do you know her? what is wrong with her? She insulted the children asking what was wrong with them and shit. Then she added that she didn't care (not in those words), she was there to get the material and leave. Shame, shame shame...

Anyways... the weather was great that day. I took a walk, Went home. Texted Neliko to see what she was up to. We ended up hanging out at Data's apartment. I also watched Taken.. it was good to watch, entertaining but I can't say I liked it.

I had to run between classes and work on Wednesday. I hate Wednesdays (hating is fine in '09). Last semester it was Monday, now it's Wednesday: 12 hours of work.

Thursday was a very busy day at work. I didn't have that much to do but lawyers did. They prepared several contracts that had to be signed that day. Even I had to help them out. It was also one of my coworkers birthday. We managed to buy some shampagne and wine, get some food a cake and had a little celebration while others were stuck dealing with contracts in the city council. I was late for the class but I made a call ahead of time. I was a little tipsy. I listened to the prof. and then wrote the quiz. I expect a 100. Then my friend gave me a ride home (you know the one with a car but without a license).

I also went to take some pictures of the building we have apartments for sale in.

As always I was very glad when Friday came because that means some rest. Didn't do anything entertaining this Weekend. I worked for more than I usually do this Saturday. The rest of the day was all about recording, learning to do some effects on Photoshop. Chatting with Neliko who went to Poland that night. Then I watched Quantum of Solace and liked it. Just another Bond movie. I'm not really a fan.

I did some recording today. Went to a Leo Club meeting which was at my school, studied, did some reading. just random stuff.

My friend Levan (remeber him, Travis?) and I discussed what we can do when we graduate on the way back after the meeting. We both want to be independent and do our thing. Time will tell... depends on how hard we work of course.

I took some pics with my cell phone. Enjoy the view from one of the classes at my school.

Where I Be

Free Flowin Fridayz

I looooove being around friends soo much. They make you feel amazing, loved, appreciated. But when one special friend is missing in your life, it HURTS like hell! I've always been the one to take the right step and try to mend things, even when I'm not the one that was wrong in the first place. I do this because I value the friendship. But I feel like there comes a point when I don't have to act like the grown up and am allowed to act childish. GOOD GRIEF why the hell do I have to be the responsible one all the time? UGH. It gets exhausting after you've been the one listending to your friends' problems, relationship issues, other friendship problems....When it finally hits you..your like WTH? "How can I fix up other people's lives and when it comes to my own I feel helpless?" Or I guess more like you've already put all the effort you have into this particular friendship that some effort must be made from the second party.

Another thing...getting others involved. I HAAATE doing this and avoid doing it whenever possible, but when someone is practically offering their services to arbitrate, and I've become that desparate, I'll accept. Is that wrong? After all, if your the one who always does the healing, shouldn't you finally give in once and try to let others heal you? Well I have mixed feelings about this. Personally I feel like I have an almost neverending level of patientce-until I start feeling the pains inside. You know that deep down, gut wrenching, 'why on earth is this happening' feeling? Well maybe you don't, and considering it's only the first time I've felt it, it's not an easy one to deal with. But closing in on 2 months of crap now, it's becoming unbearable. People say "wait" and "give it time." But time is running out :(

It is soo unfortunate to work so hard on something only to see it fall apart towards the end of you working on it. Tis life, and we must deal with it, but sometimes there is no band-aid large enough to cover up the wounds incurred or the scars left behind. I wish there were some magic potion to make it all go back to normal, or turn back time so we can stop things from happening. But alas there is not. Every obstacle we face in life is a challenge we must take on wholeheartedly. It is though these experiences that we become stronger. No warrior or fighter of any sort is without war wounds or scars.

Short Message

Our new kid on the blog will be posting her weekly Free Flow but I take responsibility for it (more than likely) being a day late.

-TRIVI

When I was 7

My friend andI were talking about random things... it led to me remembering some of my favorite songs when I was 7. I had cable for a year so I got introduced to MTV. These were my favorite songs back then. I still like them today. Didn't get any of the lyrics, maybe some separate words. This is still the time when I would listen to the Beatles over and over again.

Might be the only rap song I liked back then

Song of the Day

Lloyd Banks & 50 Cent - Victory

This was when they were breaking out and making some good/hardcore music.

Food for Thought

I was thinking about the power of words and just the communication... how communication becomes difficult when it's not face-to-face. We just have to interpret words written in our -emails, FB messages or wall posts, our skype chats... there are many ways to communicate. If we are not careful with words they might be interpreted in the wrong way. We might say something totally different from what we intended to... this causes a lot of funny situations, or things might get a little tense, we might hurt eachother too (not as in breaking hearts or insulting. that's extreme).
certain words and expressions are associated with certain moods and attitudes. To me they are.
