the Hidden Weekly

Week 41

Past week was... past week. I received a package and some items in there make want to get back with Mary Jane but we'll see if our relationship can be mended. the 7 in the address field was again open for interpretations. lol. They thought it was either 13 or 43 but not 73 (which it obviously was). anyways I got that and I loved it.

Things at work get busier every week. I'm fine with that. at times it's hard but I never expected it to be easy. My negotiation skills are improving. I convinced people to sign a contract that I wouldn't sign myself and I made them make an upfront payment. they'll be fine. We'll do our job and if not they'll get evetything back. it's just that the contract is very rough on them... hmmm, still gotta solve some problems associated with our current sales. There are 2 partners in the project and they still need to divide shares. I'm waiting for my boss right now. I need to let him know where we should make concessions and where we shouldn't.

I had a midterm. It wasn't as easy as it was supposed to be judging from the past experience with the professr. I think I did well though. It's just awkward to have a written test about negotiations. I don't care about terms and concepts and Sh^t like that... it was very hot in the class, A/C wasn't doing what it was supposed to do. I blanked out for about 15 minutes.

the best part of the week was the weekend. I went to Tksneti, the weather was great, it wasn't as hot as downtown. I completed some unfinished songs and recorded at night. The only thing that I truly enjoy lately is writing. I've been writing non stop for the past two weeks. Some stuff will never be heard but some of it... you'll know when it's here. It's a perfect outlet for me to vent about things, to express my excitement or disappointment... all of it. I'm holding a pen and a notebook in between meeting people I don't care about, missing friends and being in the class.

This month is the music month but it's been quite so far. There's time left of course and I'm anticipating great things... I know I'll be late for that but the rest of you are supposed to be on time.

ok, that's it.

~*Princess Chronicles*~

ATLANTIC CITY

Sooo here are some clips of this really cool show that I saw at the Showboat Resort I was staying at this past weekend. There were 2 versions of the show..one was a New Orleans Mardis Gras style (we didn't catch that one). The one we saw was "Rio Carnival" (Spanish style Mardis Gras) and the title of it all was called "THE SHOW."

And the last clip is one at the inside of the Bally's Wild West Casino. There was this talking guy beside his donkey...

ENJOY!

Eyedea & Abilities - Burn Fetish (live)

Some more Rhymesayers Entertainment for your ears. the album is out tomorrow. great performance.

"On June 13th Eyedea & Abilities performed their new album "By The Throat", which drops 07.21.09, for an intimate audience at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis, MN. Each song was prefaced with a short story or an explanation about that song. Michael Gaughan, the artist responsible for the album artwork, did a watercolor painting of the duo while they performed. "Burn Fetish" is the second video in this series with more videos to come so stay tuned."

Free Flowin Fridayz (Stressed out Saturday Edition) [Week 16]

Sooo...I've been in NJ since the 14th and left for Atlantic City on Wednesday. Just got back so that's why this is late. But I had plenty of time for thoughts to fly through my head last night.

First and foremost..I find it..interesting..how hard it is, for those who readily give advice, to seek it for themselves. These people so often put themselves out there for the benefit of others-from advising them to being there for them as a shoulder to lean on, etc.-that they forget about themselves. They forget that many of these same friends are there for them as well. I tell you this though, my dear friends..no I IMPLORE you to reach out to these souls. Really they are blind to their own pains and only feel the pains of others. They do never want to burden anyone with their own worries because they might feel it is selfish and that nobody should be worrying about them. They only feel their own chaotic misery when it is almost too late and they are in a phase of hysteria. So whenever you might feel that a friend is stressed out, upset, etc. Test the waters..see what's wrong. Sometimes all it takes is one word to allow them to spill/open up. Be warned though...it may take a few days of prodding, they may be difficult (or not)...but either way you must be prepared to be completely patient and give them your undivided attention. If you don't you risk the possibility of them going back into their protective shell if they feel that they might be wasting your time...

American Culture + any culture NOT American= *KABOOOOM* (my life)
Yep...*sigh* My GOD it is not my fault that I get along with more male friends then female friends. Just because that is the case does not mean I am romantically attracted to all or ANY of them for that matter. A friend is a friend. PERIOD. right? no apparently not. So let me see Geden's new female name can be Geraldine, Travis=Trianna, Rico=Rita...that should solve my problem. LOL. nope I am such a bad liar. so that would never work. *sigh* Not my fault that the only friends I ever talk to on the phone are the guys...the girls seem to prefer the texts, or im's. Which is fine because some are just busy, don't like using the phone or I'm just not that close to yet or who knows. So either I stop talking to my friends, I change their names and lie, or instead of openly talking on the phone to Guy X at 11pm I wait until parents are asleep and sneak around to talk? hmmmm....like I need more stress to deal with at this point.

In other news...sooo how exactly do you determine which path is the correct one for you if your parents-even just one of them-is being completely unsupportive/unhelpful/has said something you hate hearing more than once?

And if one choice is more financially sound but your environment might very well drive you to insanity...what do you do?

*P.S.-Keep your eye out for future Princess Chronicles...if technology is on my side, you should be in for a few treats*

P.O.S. - Why Go (Pearl Jam cover) + Goodbye

"I was asked if I was interested in covering a pearl jam song by mtv2. I thought it was funny that they wanted to include me, being a rapper and all, but I wanted to take a shot at it. I loved ten when it came out, rocked the tape till it popped. One of my favorites on it was why go, none of the bands they asked had picked it yet so I did. I though about reworking the original lyrics into a rap kind of situation, but then I was playing the melody on one of my keyboards and thought it might be more fun to just straight cover it. So I did. It was fun. I hope you likes it." - P.O.S

Igor should appreciate this, great advertisement of english language courses.

Dat New "New"

just a song I thought of after doing the new picture and changing the layout. I'm waiting for your opinions. (as always; click on the title to download)

Kid CuDi - Dat New New

new template

As you can see I picked a new template. I feel like we should change the way the blog looks. I'll let you decide though... we can just go back to the dark template or choose something else. I like this one because it is stretched and it won't cut the sides of embeded videos. I had to decrease the size and quality in many cases. plus it's brighter (update: take that back: colors can be edited however we want to, hmmm I'm discovering new things). If anyone has another template to suggest. let me know. This goes to admins, contibutors and followers alike.

Song(s) of the Day

It was good to find this song at 2dbz. I'm not a big fan of Radiohead but I really like some of their songs. (Thom Yorke is the frontman for those who don't know). I'm also including a song from UNKLE's  1998 release Psyence Fiction, Yorke is also featured on one of the tracks. I might post the whole album later. It's worth the listen. to download, click on the title.
