Week 39

July finally came and it is announced as official WTP music month. Many releases coming and I am very excited. My presence will be very limited though. I definitely won't finish my EP anytime in July... Each day I get more and more ideas not just lirically but musicwise as well. I don't want to create too much excitment over it so that's it.

I've been pretty much the same way this week. My thoughts are still messy... I want to talk about it to certain people but I'm not ready and it might go away before I get a chance to get ready. Yasmeen and I had a little convo about constantly thinking about things/people...

School is going ok (I guess). Class got canceled on Tuesday because some of the students had to leave the class due to failure to pay for tuition (I know; messed up). That problem persisted for the rest of the week but without a class getting canceled. I made a pretty good deal in my negotiations class this Friday. We do some case studies where we are assigned roles and have to negotiate. I came prepared (as always, haha). Plus my oponent was easy to manipulate... during the break I was invited to a birthday party as a "boyfriend" for the birthday girl's best friend (same person as my oponent). lol... long story. Saturday was crazy the first half of the day. Work, school (constantly leaving class to answer phone) then i was supposed to have a meeting while I was supposed to check out an aprtment in my neighborhood, get a present for the birthday girl and go to Tskneti. Yeah, all at the same time. The meeting got cancelled and I managed to do the rest, plus get a new atmosphere EP and make a little post. The rest of the day was very laid back.

oh... as I was leaving class I heard my name and turned around to see a friend I haven't seen this year. She studies at CSB as well but her schedule was opposite of mine throughout this year. Now we have a chance to see each other on Saturdays (at least). Definitely gave her a big hug. Good people deserve it.

I had to wake up early today, go to bus station

not the same place but pretty close. It was very hot and I had to wait on others. It was a 40 minute drive. I didn't know most of the people there but I went anyways. It was like a Yes Man situation. Why not? It was fun. Didn't get to dive into the pool because it started to rain when we arrived. I played some table tennis though. The food was great, plus I made some strategic moves to get a seat in between pretty/drunk girls... I definitely enjoyed myself. lol. It was a good day.

My friend came back from Vilnius. I haven't seen her for a year and really want to but haven't managed yet. My other friend went to Prague for 3 weeks.... which makes me want to travel more.

I saw some interesting pictures on FB. I see you had a great time together Jenelle, Rico, Travis and Igor. Good stuff. Great pictures.

that's it.. now I'll go back to being sad and melancholic (it's for the sake of art).

Free Flowin Fridayz (Week 14)

Decisions-why can't they make themselves? Why must we make decisions and choices for ourselves ALL the time? Sometimes I wish things would just happen and work out the way they are supposed to...or I guess I mean the way you want them to. Within the next 7 days I have to make a pretty huge decision or two, but I am anxiously awaiting one more factor that will help me make this choice. My patience is waning...and I just want to SCRRREEEAAAAM! This leads to the symptoms of a semi-nervous breakdown/panic attack. yup. Hence why all I want to do now is READ. *SIGH*

They always say...Everything happens for a reason, but if only we knew what this reason/reasons were.

Watermelon: A GREAT summer fruit, but it makes you pee a lot!

AAHHH....I can't concentrate enough to write anything really coherent at the moment as I talk to one friend on the phone and chat with another on AIM.

Soo TTFN.

the Hidden Post

little things make me happy... especially if someone does it and has no idea that I know.

Travis; Breathing has been easier today (compared to yesterday).

WTP Music Month Is Here

That's right, so expect a good bit of music this month from your favorite WTP artists....those you know and those you may not have heard yet.

So instead of me continuing to hype it up, I shall let the birthday girl do it for me....

p.s. whatever happens to the Florida boys, G???? They are more than welcome to drop something on us any day.

Birthday Blog....Goodbye 21

I have been boycotting this blog because I wrote a long post about the BET awards and right when I pressed send it was deleted sigh. In other news, I turn 22 tomorrow so I decided to take a look back at 21 and thinking about how it went. I think this past year I have gone through the most changes both mentally and physically than I ever have before. One of my greatest and most important accomplishments though has been acquiring the ability to see people and situations outside of myself. This mindset has taught me how to deal with people, who often just don't see the big picture. As my dad always tells me, you have to learn to see the trees before you can understand the forest. So here are my top 10 things to think about, that I learned this past year (in no particular order)

Money On My Mind

I can to run down ideas that I have (and some I have used) to make, save, or better handle money.

  1. Clean your house! We did this and I found a good amount of change throughout the house. When put with the change that I already had, a decent amount was accumulated. Try it and see. Ask Rico about change around the room....might be enough to get you a shake from Steak N Shake

  2. Let go of a few belonging. A few weeks back, we went through our attic and brought down a lot of stuff (mostly clothes). After going through and deciding what to keep, we decided to try and sell them at the local flea market. Whatever is left after this will gladly be given to the either the Goodwill, Salvation Army, or both. We have already made a trip to the Goodwill for space purposes.

  3. Eat what is cooked at your home. Cook what is in the cabinets/refrigerator of your home. I know you want a pizza or Chinese food sometimes but just settle for the pbj sandwich.

  4. Check your Sunday paper for coupons. When it comes time to buy groceries (or get that certain item that you must have), the coupons can save you a few quarters or even dollars, depening on how much you buy.

  5. Increase your availability at work. This may mean that you work on a Saturday or something but make the sacrifice. It won't be that long and before you know it, you're out with your friends that evening!

  6. Carpool!!!!!

  7. Walk!!!!! I am fortunate to have a few stores within close distance [Dollar General & a Chinese food place]. If you do as well, then go ahead and walk over there. Don't be like Igor, lol

  8. Find a productive habit (writing lyrics, reading, exercising) that is interesting and can replace other habits that cost more (movies...unless you're Yaz, eating out, shopping)

  9. Don't buy music when you can get this great material that WTP is creating & providing for you!!!

p.s. I'm glad you requested this Rho, turned out to be a decent post.

p.s. My boss is on a 2 hr break, damn!

Summer Song (Song of the Summer)

I came home with this song spinning in my head so I had to listen for ten (or so) times
